Job requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a generalist health and safety role
• Degree, NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health, or equivalent
• Demonstrated incident investigation skills
• Sound understanding of Risk Management
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence

Job responsibilities

• Support embedding the health and safety system
• Provide coaching and empowerment for safe work practices
• Champion and ensure correct application of health and safety practices
• Collaborate with management and workers for regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in health and safety
• Experience in creating health and safety change
• Proven background in health and safety

Skills

• Effective time management and workload prioritization
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to develop and facilitate training sessions
• Proficient in Microsoft suite programs
