Opportunity for Heavy Diesel Mechanics at Liverpool Automotive:

Liverpool Automotive is currently seeking two experienced, qualified, and competent Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their busy team in Manukau, Auckland. The ideal candidates should possess strong hands-on mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills in both heavy and light vehicles. Liverpool Automotive encourages continuous upskilling and specialization in key growth areas within the automotive industry.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Possession of a relevant Automotive or Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification. - Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in heavy diesel and light commercial vehicles. - Strong auto electrical skills are preferred but not essential. - Experience in repairing Automatic Transmissions & Manual gearboxes would be advantageous but not necessary. - Proficiency in diagnostic procedures on trucks, cars, vans, and heavy machinery using computer-based diagnostic systems. - Prior experience in servicing and repairing swing lifts/cranes. - Competence in truck/car tire replacement and repairs. - Ability to lead a team, work under pressure, and supervise when required.
