Role of Housing Support Manager

As a Housing Support Manager, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with customers and their families to establish lasting relationships that address their housing and well-being requirements. Your responsibilities will involve visiting customers at their Kāinga Ora homes, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring tailored support services are in place to meet evolving needs. Working within a local team, you will adopt a holistic approach to support tenants' access to resources and help them flourish within their communities. Additionally, managing rent arrears and debt collection will be part of your role.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate for this role will be empathetic, adept at building relationships, and capable of handling emotional situations with ease. Problem-solving skills and cultural awareness, especially in working with Māori and Pasifika communities, are essential. A valid NZ driver's license is necessary due to the travel requirements of the position.
