Job Title: Service Technician - HVAC (Commercial)

About the Opportunity:

As a Service Technician - HVAC (Commercial) in Melbourne, Australia, you will join a leading HVAC services company dedicated to providing top-notch maintenance, service, and breakdown support for premium commercial clients. Your role will involve maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of HVAC & R equipment, including Air Handling Units, Ducted Splits, Chillers, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations on HVAC & R equipment
• Manage contracts and clients to ensure timely and quality service delivery
• Utilize SAP for recording and tracking maintenance activities
• Adhere to safety, quality, and industry best practices
• Manage daily schedule efficiently

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have a trade certificate or qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or HVAC, with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial or industrial setting. A current clean driver's license and a willingness to obtain a Victorian Refrigerant license are required. Experience in working to best practices and high-quality standards is essential.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to manage contracts and clients independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays
• Familiarity with niche BMS systems is a plus

Job Offer:

• 42-hour workweek with an RDO every fortnight
• Flexible start and finish times (approximately 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday)
• Hourly pay rate between $46 - $52 per hour plus super (based on experience)
• Dual cab ute provided for local personal use
• Fuel card, mobile phone, and toll toggle provided
• Approximately 2-5 hours of overtime per week paid at penalties
