About the Opportunity
This Import Seafreight Operator role reports into the Import Seafreight Operations Supervisor and is based at the Airport. Here you will develop and grow your skills working Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm. The role involves processes, handling, and distributing all required documents in the receiving areas, performing booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines, delivery arrangement, ensuring customer requirements are met, managing and controlling the running of the Cartage Team resources, and interacting with various departments when required.
Key Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of OFR Import Operations
- NZ Citizen, Residency, or Open Work Visa
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Freight and Logistics
- Good administration skills
- Clear and comprehensive communication skills via email and phone
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and high attention to detail
