The Position: Internal Auditor in Christchurch
This is a permanent, full-time Internal Auditor position based in Christchurch, reporting to the Head of Risk and Assurance. The role involves delivering internal audit and advisory services across the business, including planning and conducting audit engagements, evaluating controls, and writing reports. Additionally, the position requires special projects, continuous audit testing, and providing internal control advice.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of auditing experience, preferably with internal audit exposure
- CA or Certified Internal Auditor qualification
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in data analytics, problem-solving, and partnership and consultation
- Results-oriented with a focus on risk management and internal control disciplines
