Job Overview: IT Applications Specialist

JDE Peet's is currently seeking an IT Applications Specialist to oversee IT applications and serve as the primary point of contact for associates in New Zealand. The role involves collaborating closely with the main IT vendor (Accenture) to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to the team. Based in both the head office and factory in East Tamaki, the IT Applications Specialist will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners
• Translate business needs into IT solutions
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals
• Oversee day-to-day IT Applications Support services
• Collaborate with Accenture for IT support and project rollouts
• Work on infrastructure and network improvements
• Prioritize work and support vendors during high-priority incidents

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of experience in IT
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage IT projects effectively
• Experience with ITIL v3 is a plus
• Unrestricted Work Visa
• Nice to have: Business partnering experience, Data Analytics skills, E-commerce platforms knowledge
