This opportunity is for a Senior Service Desk Analyst to join our client's growing Service Desk team in Auckland CBD. You will provide comprehensive IT support to staff, managing incidents, service requests, and remote support tasks. The role requires experience with Azure and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Tasks

  • Categorize and address incidents via ticketing software, ensuring resolution or delegation.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders, providing updates for seamless handover.
  • Support end-users with hardware, software, OS, and networking issues, including troubleshooting printing and phone system concerns.
  • Log incidents and requests accurately to aid in problem management.
  • Manage service requests from initiation to resolution, acting as the single point of contact.

Your Background

  • Technical IT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Azure.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric service desk environment.
  • Respectful and patient approach to interacting with end-users.
  • Skilled in remote management and software patching tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity and printing problems.
  • Foundational understanding of ITIL methodologies preferred.
