- Be a NZ qualified lawyer with 2-3 years of legal experience in criminal law
- Have experience at PAL 1 level or above, classified by the Ministry of Justice
- Demonstrate the ability to run and manage criminal cases effectively
- Show a desire to lead and mentor junior team members
- Have a track record of leadership and management experience, not necessarily limited to the legal field
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
