Ngākōroa School Job Opportunity

Ngākōroa School is looking for a caring, committed, and responsive individual to join our dedicated learning team. This role involves implementing a learning support plan for a student with specific needs, requiring 1:1 support. You will collaborate with a team of teachers and work in an open learning space with a group of wonderful students.

We are seeking someone who possesses: - Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with students with diverse needs - A calm, friendly, and firm demeanor with a good sense of humor - Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with both adults and students - Professionalism, confidentiality, adaptability, and willingness to learn

Hours are flexible, ranging from 15 to 25 per week during term time only, with a negotiable start date in March 2024. Shortlisting will commence upon receiving applications. This position falls under the terms of the Support Staff Collective Agreement 2022-2024.
