Responsibilities

As a Kaitauko Māori, you will play a crucial role in providing support to Māori students enrolled in high-priority courses, ensuring their academic success. Collaboration with colleagues and Course Coordinators will be key to offering a positive learning environment and culturally appropriate support to Māori students.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess an undergraduate qualification and demonstrate proficiency in te reo and tikanga Māori. Experience in working with Māori learners and tutoring at the undergraduate level is essential. Being able to contribute effectively to projects, being a self-motivated individual, and having adaptability are also qualities that we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
