Responsibilities

As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Composition, your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and delivering research-led teaching in music composition - Supervising composition students at all levels - Producing innovative creative research outputs with national or international impact - Collaborating within and outside the music sector to build partnerships - Enabling students to develop music knowledge and vocational skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess: - A doctorate in Music Composition - Experience in teaching composition at a tertiary level - Active composition practice with national or international recognition - Skills in notated and electronic/algorithmic composition - Familiarity with the national music sector and community partnerships - Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in academia
