EY is a leading organization offering a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to work on large-scale impactful projects. They are currently looking for a Manager within the Transaction Diligence (Financial Services) team. This role is based in Auckland but can also be considered for Wellington or Christchurch for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage due diligence engagements for acquisitions or disposals
- Analyze financial and operational results of targets
- Project manage teams, information flows, and key stakeholders
- Prepare/evaluate pro forma financial information and independent financial analysis
- Identify issues impacting purchase price and deal structuring
- Coach and support junior team members
- Develop trusted working relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent
- Experience in Transaction Diligence role within a Consulting environment
- Strong analytical skills and financial services experience
- Interest in M&A transactions and working with clients across various sectors
