Manager - Transaction Diligence Full-time Job

Overview

EY is a leading organization offering a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to work on large-scale impactful projects. They are currently looking for a Manager within the Transaction Diligence (Financial Services) team. This role is based in Auckland but can also be considered for Wellington or Christchurch for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence engagements for acquisitions or disposals
• Analyze financial and operational results of targets
• Project manage teams, information flows, and key stakeholders
• Prepare/evaluate pro forma financial information and independent financial analysis
• Identify issues impacting purchase price and deal structuring
• Coach and support junior team members
• Develop trusted working relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics
• Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent
• Experience in Transaction Diligence role within a Consulting environment
• Strong analytical skills and financial services experience
• Interest in M&A transactions and working with clients across various sectors
