Meter Reader - Penrose Full-time Job

Key points

- Location: Penrose, South Auckland region - Contract: Permanent - Salary: $23.65/hour for the first three months, then pay per meter read - Full training provided, no experience needed - Uniform, steel-capped boots, work vehicle, and fuel card provided - Health insurance after 24 months

Job requirements

- Full New Zealand driver’s license - New Zealand or Australian Citizenship or Residency - Pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test - No criminal convictions (MOJ check required)

Job responsibilities

- Drive set routes and walk around 5-6km a day - Read and record gas, water, and power meters

Skills

- Able to walk long distances, bend, and lift up to 20kg - Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions - Cool with being around dogs
