Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and empower a team to develop advanced digital capabilities aligning with business needs
• Manage application lifecycle across hybrid cloud environment and SaaS systems
• Ensure documentation and automation are up to date to support operational efficiency
• Provide technical support for cloud and on-premises application design, integration, and operation
• Maintain highly available and reliable customer-facing application services through monitoring and self-healing
• Align applications, solutions, and services with Auckland Transport's IT strategic plan

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

• Experience in team management and strategic direction setting
• Operational knowledge of On-Prem and Cloud toolsets such as Azure, ADO, D365, IDM, AWS, and Agile principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
• Understanding of SDLC and infrastructure technologies
• Ability to support and maintain complex application environments
• Relevant tertiary qualification and organizational skills
