Lead and Manage Circuit & Specialists Group

The National Manager Circuit & Specialists will oversee the delivery of efficient and quality verification services for the Circuits & Specialists group within the New Zealand Food Safety Directorate. This role involves managing a highly technical workforce supporting over 2,000 sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Circuit & Specialists group to deliver strategy and business plans
• Ensure efficient resource planning and financial management
• Contribute to the development of Verification Services strategy
• Support the Director Verification Services as part of the leadership team

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience as a senior people leader, strong financial capability, and operational management experience in regulated environments. Knowledge of food production or animal products sectors is desirable.

The National Manager will be part of a small team of National Managers overseeing a nationally distributed and highly technical workforce supporting various sectors across New Zealand.
