We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Rail Safety Officer to join our team based in Wellington, Auckland, or Christchurch.

Your Role

As a Principal Rail Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within the rail industry. Your duties will include monitoring the compliance of rail license holders and participants, contributing industry expertise to investigations, and fostering stakeholder relationships to enhance the land transport system.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you should possess extensive experience in transport, infrastructure, or engineering, along with a strong background in regulatory compliance. Your ability to apply best practices, problem-solving skills, and effective communication will be key to your success. Additionally, a tertiary qualification or relevant operational experience is required.
