About You:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of older individuals, including those with dementia. About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at NALHN, you will be part of the Older Persons Mental Health Service, providing support in acute inpatient settings, community teams, and Northgate House. Your role will involve discipline-specific assessments, individualized support for behaviors, and facilitating meaningful occupation for consumers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized care programs and support consumer preferences.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • Ability to work in a diverse and flexible environment
  • Valid DHS Working With Children Check and Aged Care Sector Employment Screening
  • Compliance with immunization requirements
