About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at NALHN. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older individuals facing mental health challenges, including those with dementia. You will be dedicated to providing person and family-centered care with dignity and respect. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support older individuals in their care and recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and interventions for consumers with occupational performance concerns
- Provide therapeutic engagement and care coordination in the community
- Support consumer meaningful occupation and individualized programs at Northgate House
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. The successful applicant will undergo relevant background checks and screenings as per SA Health requirements.
