Join as a Speech-Language Therapist

As an Acorn Speech-Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and therapy of clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, creating therapy plans, implementing interventions, and providing support to families and other professionals. Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the holistic care and well-being of the children and youth served by Acorn.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold a degree (or higher) in Speech & Language Therapy
  • Eligible for membership with the NZSTA
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paediatric speech-language therapy
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic, team player, and committed to professional development
  • Experience with autistic and developmentally delayed children (preferred)
  • Clearance from a criminal record check
  • NZ permanent residency/citizenship or valid NZ work visa
  • Full NZ driver's licence
