Midwife Position at South Seas Healthcare Trust

About the Role:

• Design and implement a Pacific model of care for maternity and early years
• Provide midwifery care throughout the antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal period
• Collaborate with a team of midwives to ensure continuity of care
• Develop cohesive relationships with other healthcare providers

Requirements:

• Current New Zealand midwifery APC
• Knowledge of local community and organizations, focusing on vulnerable populations
• Skills in negotiation, advocacy, and facilitation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication
• Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
• Current driver's license
• Ability to speak a Pacific Island language preferred
