Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Pastry Chef to join our team and take charge of our dessert creations. As a Pastry Chef at Atelier Shu, you will be responsible for pastry production, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in pastry-making, excellent time management skills, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with our team.

Responsibilities

• Take part in seasonal menu planning under the direction of the head chef.
• Prepare and bake a variety of desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all desserts.
• Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
• Culinary degree or certificate in pastry arts preferred.
• Proficiency in time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of a wide range of pastry techniques and cake decorating.
• Creativity and passion for dessert-making.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and menu requirements.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
