Are you an overseas-based teacher considering a move to New Zealand? This opportunity is open to both NZ-based and Overseas-based teachers. Furthermore, overseas-trained teachers coming to New Zealand may be eligible for a relocation grant of up to NZD$10,000. Additionally, as of May, Secondary Teachers will move to Tier 1 on the Green List, allowing them to transition directly to residence status, saving two years of working in New Zealand for residency.

Job Requirements and Eligibility

To be successful in this role, you must have the right to work in NZ, be qualified to teach Physical Education, possess relevant teaching qualifications, and have NCEA experience. The ideal candidate will also showcase a commitment to starting in Term 3 or 4, 2024, be a team player, and demonstrate a willingness to try new strategies. Eligible candidates should hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, provide a minimum of two professional references from senior staff members, and be registered with NZTC.
