Principal Structural Engineer

MTL is an employee-owned, multi-discipline engineering design and project delivery services company based in Auckland, New Zealand, involved in a variety of projects both internationally and within New Zealand. We provide a full range of professional services from early feasibility studies, strategic planning and design through to construction and commissioning support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide innovative and cost-effective designs as the technical lead of structural design.
• Site supervision and reporting.
• Lead a team of Structural engineers and collaborate with Civil, Mechanical, Process Engineers, and Designers on various projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant New Zealand experience.
• Right to work in NZ.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in structural design work on renewable energy, industrial, and commercial projects.

Recent Projects:

• Water and Wastewater treatment facilities
• Power Generation
• Geothermal Steamfields
• Hydro Upgrades
• Industrial buildings
• Earthquake building strengthening
