Are you an experienced Senior Life Underwriter looking to take on a leadership role in the insurance industry? Pinnacle Life is seeking a Principal Underwriter to lead and oversee the life insurance underwriting process, make critical decisions on policy applications, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the life insurance underwriting process
• Assess risks and make decisions on policy applications based on the UW framework
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide guidance on complex UW cases

The Role

At Pinnacle Life, we prioritize quick and thorough processing of life cover applications. As the Principal Underwriter, you will work closely with clients and intermediaries to assess medical records against applications for various types of cover. You will mentor Underwriting Support Officers, assess cases in consultation with Underwriters in Australia, and deliver clear responses to clients regarding their cover applications.
