The Role

The Product Design Engineer position at Boundaryline reports to the Product Development Manager. This role plays a crucial part in the product development team, refining existing products and creating new ones to support the company's growth goals. Responsibilities include overseeing the product range, managing the New Product Development (NPD) process, and guiding projects from design to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product design team to develop innovative products and enhance existing ones
• Manage the entire NPD process from concept to delivery
• Establish procurement and supply chain for new products
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and custom product teams
• Manage quality control and testing
• Ensure product compliance
• Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a background in product design and development. Key qualifications and characteristics include experience in NPD systems, engineering design, CAD, and manufacturing processes, along with proficiency in supply chain management and procurement. Effective communication, project management expertise, and a commitment to quality are essential.
