Job requirements

- A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline - 1–2 years of experience in product development within related industries - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and industry frameworks

Job responsibilities

- Leverage market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights - Develop new product formulations focusing on commercial viability and nutritional value - Manage upscaling of products from concept to market - Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers - Work on ingredient trials, processing improvements, and supply chain stability - Foster connections with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and customers

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field

Skills

- Proven ability to build and nurture relationships - Experience in project management or product lifecycle management (preferred) - Exceptional technical, communication, and organizational skills
