Job Description

Lynx Recruitment is partnering with a prominent Civil Contractor in Northland, currently seeking experienced Project Engineers for a variety of exciting civil projects. The projects range from roading, power, to water stations with the opportunity for travel around New Zealand, fully compensated with travel allowances.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or relevant field
• Minimum five years of experience as a project engineer in civil engineering or related field
• Strong commercial acumen
• Current, clean driver's license
• Good health and safety work record
• Ability to problem solve and work efficiently
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently meeting operational and financial targets by:

• Managing plant and people resourcing
• Liaising with subcontractors and stakeholders
• Implementing quality, environmental, and safety plans
• Participating in group discussions to achieve KPIs and targets
