Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives and contributing to system-wide change in education? We are looking for a New Zealand Registered Psychologist to join our team as Te Kahu Tōī IWS Psychologist for a fixed-term full-time role covering parental leave.

What You'll Be Doing

As a part of our team, you will work collaboratively to understand the needs of young people and their families, implementing evidence-based interventions to support their learning, well-being, and behavior. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying patterns influencing learning and behavior
  • Contributing to strength-based collaborative team processes
  • Providing individualized psychological assessment and intervention
  • Supporting evidence-informed practices
  • Monitoring effectiveness through data collection

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $82,928 - $117,928 per annum, plus 3% kiwi saver, with the successful candidate appointed based on skills and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:

About You

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you must be a New Zealand Registered Psychologist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively with children, young people, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds in a collaborative setting. Understanding and applying the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga are essential.

Te Kahu Tōī Intensive Wraparound Service focuses on providing evidence-based interventions for children and young people with complex needs. Working closely with various stakeholders, the team aims to create comprehensive wraparound plans to support the success of children and youth in various environments.
