Job requirements:

- Master's level tertiary qualification and a post-graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology or equivalent - New Zealand Registered Psychologist under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act - Ability to translate practitioner knowledge into practical information - Full drivers licence - Adherence to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct

Job responsibilities:

- Identify patterns or contributing factors influencing learning, wellbeing, and behavior - Enhance inclusive practices in educational settings - Provide support and guidance to schools, teachers, and families - Conduct specialist assessments and analysis - Work as part of a trans-disciplinary team - Apply UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Disability Strategy principles - Participate in relevant government initiatives and strategies

Qualifications:

- Master's level tertiary qualification - Post-graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology or equivalent - New Zealand Registered Psychologist under the HPCAA

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and settings - Understanding and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga
