Committed to delivering top-quality products and services to the building and construction sector, we are currently seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our team in East Tamaki, Auckland.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory control system
• Purchase production-related goods and building accessories
• Maintain product data and rectify miscalculations
• Support the production team
• Prepare Purchase Orders
• Work closely with suppliers for timely product deliveries
• Forecast stock needs and maintain minimum stock levels
• Liaise with stakeholders and international logistic agents
• Maintain product knowledge and order alternate products when necessary
• Assist in various areas and collaborate with the Production team
• ERP Administration and reporting

Requirements for the Role

• Positive, pro-active with a "can do" attitude
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team player
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• Experience in construction steel trade preferred
• New Zealand legal Work Rights and pass pre-employment assessments

Location and Benefits

Location: East Tamaki, Auckland

Benefit: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
