Position: Residential Estimator at Signature Construction
Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Estimator to be part of our growth journey. This role is based in Albany, Auckland, and offers a recession-proof business plan and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tender assessments to identify project requirements and opportunities.
- Provide value engineering input for tenders and cost-effective solutions.
- Review pricing proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage and review tenders ensuring pricing accuracy and timely submissions.
- Attend pre and post-tender meetings and interact with various stakeholders.
- Perform quantity take-offs and material measurements for purchase orders.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of construction experience in New Zealand.
- Experience in estimating for multi-unit housing and civil works.
- Strong knowledge of NZ construction systems, especially NZS3604.
- Excellent financial literacy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with Cat Projects or Cost-X is a plus.
