Quantity Surveyor - Estimator Full-time Job

Key points:

• Experienced residential Estimator/QS position
• Located on the North Shore of Auckland

• Reporting to the Lead Estimator

Job responsibilities:

• Tender assessments and identifying key requirements
• Reviewing subcontractor bids
• Completing full estimates and tender presentations
• Value engineering input for cost-effective solutions
• Purchase ordering and letting subcontract agreements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years NZ construction experience
• Estimation experience in multi-unit housing, civil site works, and $10m+ tenders
• Working knowledge of NZ construction systems, particularly NZS3604

Skills:

• Great people skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong financial literacy and attention to detail
• Computer literacy in Excel, Outlook, Word
