As the Recruitment and Allocation Manager, you will play a vital role in improving healthcare provision for all New Zealanders.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Recruitment and Allocation Team in delivering services to the three Auckland region Districts
  • Manage recruitment, coordination of employment, and training rotations for the junior doctor RMO workforce
  • Provide leadership for national graduate placement processes for Nurses and RMOs
  • Ensure success of the team through proven managerial experience and leadership skills
  • Contribute to the development of new processes associated with the transition to the Health New Zealand model

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in managing service delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a leadership role at a management level
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data, think critically, and deliver on strategic plans
  • Experience in project management and continuous improvement
