Job Summary
The Refrigeration Technician role at Kailis Marine involves conducting installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance of marine refrigeration systems. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, conducting pressure testing, installing refrigeration equipment, problem-solving, and staying updated on technological advances within the field.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have an air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanical trade certificate, a WA C Class electrical endorsement, at least 3-5 years of experience in marine and commercial refrigeration systems, and a Full ARCtick Fluorocarbon Refrigerant Handling license. Additionally, they should possess advanced mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and enthusiasm for the role.
The Rewards
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $45 - $50, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a progressive West Australian company and contribute to its growth. While the position is based in Fremantle, there may be occasional travel requirements to regional sites.
