Are you an experienced Warrant of Fitness (WoF) and Certification of Fitness (CoF) technician looking to make a difference in road safety? A Certification Officer position is available in Auckland, offering flexible working hours from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits and investigations in the vehicle certification sector, focusing on areas of high risk and non-compliance. Your duties will include:
- Performing routine performance reviews of Inspecting Organisations (IO's) and Vehicle Inspectors (VI's)
- Assessing IO's and VI's for entry into the system
- Investigating vehicle certification complaints and regional non-compliance issues
- Implementing compliance support and enforcement interventions to ensure a safe land transport system
- Writing detailed reports on findings and statutory interventions
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Strong WoF and CoF experience
- Knowledge of Vehicle Inspection Requirement Manuals (VIRMs) and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with stakeholders at all levels
- Organisational skills to manage competing work demands
