Position Overview: Auckland and South Island Regional Sales Representative

As a Regional Sales Representative for Chase, you will be responsible for managing the Auckland and South Island regions. Based at the Head Office in Auckland, you will work closely with the Auckland Branch team and the South Island Area Manager in Christchurch. The role involves regular visits to customers in the Auckland region and a week-long monthly trip to the South Island region. Additionally, you will serve as the backup for the Christchurch branch operations.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Service, manage, and grow the customer base through building strong relationships
• Work with the Area Manager and assist at the Christchurch branch as needed
• Identify market trends and prospect new business opportunities
• Coordinate with staff for custom solutions, large orders, and quotes
• Maximize sales from the company-supplied van
• Proven sales and prospecting skills
• Good communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Organisational skills and flexibility in managing field sales and branch operations
• Interest in vehicles with basic automotive product knowledge
• Excellent time management and motivation to succeed
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Compensation and Benefits:

Chase offers a competitive remuneration package for the right candidate, including a salary in the mid to high $60s, OTE commission of up to $10,000 based on achieving sales targets, a company van, and opportunities for personal growth within a supportive and positive company culture.
