We are looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our team at a well-resourced and future-focused school in Papatoetoe, Auckland. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, for 52 weeks a year. If you have a passion for maintaining school grounds and ensuring the safety of our students, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day property tasks
• Upkeep of school grounds and pool
• Perform general handyman tasks
• Liaise with contractors
• Conduct building safety checks
• Assist in setting up school events
• Support school maintenance

Requirements:

• Must have the right to work in New Zealand
• Compliance with the Vulnerable Children’s Act
• Great communication skills
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
• Strong multi-tasking skills and a high standard of work
• Physically strong and capable of minor maintenance work
• Full clean driver's license
