Auckland-based Chartered Accountancy firm with multiple office locations is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The firm is known for its commitment to excellence, integrity, and personalized client solutions using modern cloud-based technologies.

Your Role as a Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate for this role should be CA-qualified with at least 5 years of accounting experience. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging assignments, providing comprehensive accounting services to clients. Your responsibilities will include managing client portfolios, financial forecasting, and providing strategic guidance for compliance and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing business, tax, and accounting support to clients
• Building and developing quality client relationships
• Financial forecasting and advisory work
• Reviewing monthly and annual financial statements

Requirements for the Role

The ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in accounting, with completed CA/CPA being advantageous but not required. A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, strong teamwork skills, and high time management abilities are essential. Candidates must also have New Zealand working rights.
