Position Overview

As a Senior Asset Manager at Mainland Capital, you will report to the Head of Funds Management and be responsible for setting strategic asset management plans for a portfolio of properties across New Zealand. Your role will involve establishing relationships with stakeholders, driving sustainable and profitable performance, overseeing leasing agents and property specialists, preparing budgets, contributing to acquisition processes, and more.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Develop and implement strategies for optimal asset portfolio performance - Lead leasing agents and property specialists - Prepare and monitor income and expenditure budgets - Contribute to acquisition due diligence processes - Create value and mitigate risk from an asset management perspective - Produce comprehensive reports for stakeholders - Ensure capital and operational projects align with strategic goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Minimum 7 years' experience in asset management with a property investment fund manager - Relevant tertiary qualification - Financial acumen and Excel proficiency - Understanding of commercial property as an investment asset class - Entrepreneurial mindset and drive for value generation - Ability to work independently and cultivate new business opportunities - Excellent communication skills
