Job requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level
• Strong knowledge of Xero packages and industry tools
• Experience with NZ IRD tax requirements
• Formal qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills

Job responsibilities

• Owning end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial statements, tax planning, and other compliance duties
• Reviewing the work of junior staff members
• Managing the commercial aspects of engagements for quality and profitability
• Managing relationships and contact with clients

Qualifications

• Formal qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with large scale and commercial businesses
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and motivating team members
