Job Overview: Senior Business Analyst

Tonkin + Taylor is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Strategic Project Office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging business needs with technology solutions to drive strategic outcomes, efficiency, and productivity through digital transformations.

Responsibilities:

  • Define scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze needs
  • Propose innovative digital solutions to improve business operations
  • Manage project expectations and communicate progress
  • Apply Agile principles to enhance stakeholder experience and develop solutions
  • Evaluate potential technology solutions
  • Produce high-quality documentation
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and user training

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a digital environment
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, software development, and IT infrastructure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CBA, Agile analyst, or equivalent
