Role Overview

The Senior Product Lead will play a pivotal role in defining the operational rhythm of a newly formed integration and front-end development squad. Your experience in leading development squads will be essential as you navigate this transformation and set the squad up for success. Responsibilities include backlog management, agile leadership, stakeholder communications, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and refine the product backlog to focus on high-impact initiatives.
  • Agile Leadership: Maintain and enhance Agile practices within the squad for efficient development cycles.
  • Stakeholder Communications: Act as the primary liaison between the squad and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the Product Manager in defining the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a cross-functional team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Experience and Expertise Required

  • Enterprise-level experience, preferably in banking or finservices
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and present meaningful insights
  • Experience in leading and driving teams towards successful delivery
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail to navigate business and technology complexities
  • Effective communication skills with engineers and architects
  • Understanding of DevSecOps processes and tooling
  • Knowledge of user-research techniques, ideally using the Jobs-To-Be-Done framework
