Overview

A well-established civil engineering consultancy in Auckland is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale greenfield developments for a diverse client base, including home builders, iwi's, property developers, social housing providers, and community trusts. The successful candidate will have the chance to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients and councils.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor staff
• Liaise with clients and councils
• Own projects from concept to completion
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide a keen eye for detail and results-focused approach
• Demonstrate strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills
• Utilize computer skills, including Excel, Word, and MS Project
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in land development design, particularly in Auckland. A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), NZCE, or BEngTech is required. Knowledge of resource consenting requirements, earthworks, roading, drainage, and erosion control is essential. A full driver's license is necessary, and CPeng certification would be advantageous but not required.

Location and Compensation
