Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity in Auckland? Grada Recruitment is seeking a talented individual to work with their client on a range of high-end projects including Apartments, Aged Care facilities, Commercial, and Industrial constructions ranging from $20M to $100M+ in value.

Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be leading a $50M+ apartment/house build project in Auckland. Your responsibilities will include managing cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for new builds exceeding $50 million in value. You'll also oversee the tendering process, contract negotiation, and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Furthermore, you will be involved in administering contracts, handling variations, and preparing accurate cost reports to track project performance.
Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying
- Proficiency in cost estimation software
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and coaching skills
