Job requirements

- Extensive experience as a quantity surveyor on commercial construction projects
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Confident and professional communicator with clients and subcontractors
- Eye for detail and ability to drive project profitability
- Proven success in cost management, procurement, and contract negotiation
- Sound knowledge of NZ Contracts

Job responsibilities

- Oversee and manage commercial aspects of multiple projects
- Lead and support a team of 3 Intermediate QSs
- Work closely with directors and senior management on business strategy
- Ensure accurate cost control, forecasting, and risk management
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Qualifications

- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Membership of a professional body (preferred)
