Job Opportunity: Financial Restructuring, Turnaround, and Insolvency Specialist

About the Company

A specialist advisory firm in Central Auckland is looking to expand its team and is seeking experienced financial restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency professionals. With a competitive salary range of $140-160K per annum plus performance bonuses, this firm has a strong presence in the region and works with underperforming companies facing financial distress or crisis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to businesses in financial distress
• Participate in fraud investigations
• Conduct independent business reviews and appraisals
• Develop integrated financial forecast models

This role will involve working on a range of restructuring, business turnaround, and insolvency projects, including receivership, voluntary administration, and liquidation engagements. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients from various sectors, from SMEs to multinationals.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably from a Big 4 or Mid Tier firm in service lines such as Restructuring, Strategy & Business Improvement, Deals Advisory, or Forensic services. Certification such as CA, CPA, or CFA is required, along with strong financial modeling and Excel skills. Experience in managing big data is a plus but not mandatory.
