A leading advisory firm in Central Auckland with a focus on Restructuring, Turnaround, and Insolvency is looking to expand its team. They are seeking experienced professionals at the Manager to Senior Manager levels to join their specialized team in the second half of 2024.

The role involves partnering with businesses in financial distress, providing technical advice to both public and private sectors, fraud investigations, and offering financial and strategic advice through independent business reviews and appraisals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, design, and build 3-way integrated financial forecast models
• Handle restructuring, business turnaround, and insolvency work
• Lead formal appointments such as receiverships, voluntary administrations, and liquidations
• Work across other service lines including transactions and forensic services
• Engage with a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations

Requirements

The ideal candidate would have 4-6+ years of post-qualification experience with certifications such as CA/CPA/CFA. Previous experience in Big 4 or Mid-Tier firms within service lines like Restructuring, Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, or Forensic services is preferred. Strong financial modeling skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and leadership experience in a professional practice setting are essential.
