This highly regarded general practice firm in West Auckland is looking for a talented Senior Family Lawyer with at least five years of experience in Family law within a NZ based law firm. The firm is seeking someone with unquestionable integrity, a passion for helping families in the community, and an interest in matters related to Care of Child and Relationship Property.

Responsibilities

The role primarily involves working closely with the Ministry of Justice on Lawyer for Child and Lawyer for Subject Person files, as well as handling Relationship Property matters. The ideal candidate will have experience or an interest in mentoring junior staff and should be able to work as a lead provider in legal aid.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in Family law within a NZ based law firm. Experience with Lawyer for Child and Lawyer for Subject Person files is desirable, as well as the ability to work as a lead provider in legal aid. An interest in mentoring junior staff is important, and the candidate should be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in Family law.
