Overview

Pacific Hoists NZ is looking for two experienced Service Technicians to join their team in New Zealand. As a vital part of the day-to-day operations, you will be responsible for the technical assembly and service of lifting equipment ranges. If you have a passion for fixing technical equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, test, and repair technician duties for the branch - Prepare and test electric hoists and trolleys for dispatch - Wiring and programming of radio remote controls - Diagnose and repair manual chain and lever blocks, electrical, and pneumatic hoists - Assist with warehouse operations and stock management - Manifesting orders and loading for picking - Handle claims for faulty products and reorder when necessary

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies - Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items - Understanding of health and safety best practices - Valid driver's license and forklift license (counterbalance) are advantageous - Full-time permanent working rights for New Zealand
